Senior FP&A Manager

Senior FP&A Manager – Lingo Division, Alameda, CA As a Senior FP&A Manager you will manage financial planning and analysis activities to identify risks and opportunities and contribute to the achievement of the organization’s short‑term and long‑term financial goals. Responsibilities Ensure timely, high‑quality presentation of P&L, balance sheet, headcount, capital and sales results & projections, with trended information. Coordinate plans/updates/LBEs, execute and interpret monthly actual results for management decision‑making, and educate management on main financial assumptions and key business and variance drivers. Support management in developing long‑range financial plans and portfolio management, tracking/progress, profitability and ROI. Provide financial expertise to evaluate and identify key issues, gaps in business performance and emerging needs, delivering analyses that form the basis for managerial action. Develop metrics and reports to identify activity level for monthly management reviews, addressing performance, cost and spending drivers. Provide business decision support for new product concepts, launches, promotional programs, instrument placements, major customers, distribution channels, countries, areas, and product lines, influencing management in pricing strategies. Develop flexible tools to support commercial proposals focused on ROI and fully burdened margin profitability; train staff to improve financial understanding. Maintain and develop system solutions and process improvements that meet financial planning and reporting requirements. Ensure adherence to Abbott accounting policies, procedures (CFMs) and Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements; maintain controls for asset integrity and GAAP compliance. Establish and lead a competent finance team to support current and future business needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent; preferred. Minimum of 8 years of finance and supervisory experience (FP&A, Cost/General Accounting, and Financial Reporting). Ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems. Knowledge of principles, processes, and standards for integrated financial analysis and reporting. Strong analytical and communication skills; able to explain complex financial concepts to non‑financial stakeholders. Base pay for this position is $130,700.00 – $261,300.00. Pay may vary by location. Work Settings Location: 2901 Harbor Bay Parkway, Alameda, CA. Work shift: Standard. Travel: Yes, 5% of the time.
