Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to support a diverse book of commercial insurance business. This role is well suited for a professional with a strong background in farm and agriculture insurance and experience managing day-to-day commercial lines servicing activities.

The position also offers potential growth into a leadership or office management role. An in-office work arrangement is preferred, though remote flexibility may be considered for highly qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Provide quotes for new and renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.



• 
  

  Market and remarket accounts to obtain appropriate coverage and competitive pricing.



• 
  

  Process policy renewals, endorsements, and certificates of insurance.



• 
  

  Review policies for accuracy and respond to client coverage questions.



• 
  

  Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers.



• 
  

  Assist clients with claims-related questions and provide responsive customer service.



• 
  

  Support producers with ongoing account servicing needs.



• 
  

  Manage a generalist commercial lines book of business, including farm and agriculture accounts.



• 
  

  Maintain accurate client and policy information within agency systems.



• 
  

  Support office operations and workflow management as responsibilities expand.



• 
  

  Take on additional leadership responsibilities as appropriate.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 
  

  Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.



• 
  

  3–5 years of commercial lines insurance experience preferred.



• 
  

  Farm and agriculture insurance experience preferred.



• 
  

  Familiarity with AMS360 and ImageRight preferred.



• 
  

  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.



• 
  

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.



• 
  

  Strong interpersonal and client service skills.



• 
  

  Proactive approach to problem-solving and account management.



• 
  

  Interest in professional growth and potential leadership responsibilities.



• 
  

  Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment, with remote flexibility potentially available based on qualifications and business needs.

Compensation Package

• 
  

  Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000+ annually, depending on experience.
