About the Position

State Travel Nurse Practitioner | Arizona (statewide travel)

Schedule

Schedule: 2 to 4 weeks per month, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (30 minute break)

Rotations may include 1 week on and 1 week off, or 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off

Minimum availability: 2 weeks per month

Openings: 10

Position Overview

Provide primary care focused medical evaluations with statewide travel to primarily rural sites, supporting a veteran population.

Clinical Scope

• Patient assessment and medical record review
• Review and interpret labs, pulmonary function testing, and ECG studies
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies as indicated
• Order and administer medications, including vaccines
• Documentation in required EMR systems (training provided)
• Average 2 to 6 patients per day

Travel and Logistics

• Statewide travel required, primarily rural sites
• Must meet rental car or personal vehicle driving requirements
• Personal laptop required to access applications and work product

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license
• National certification (AANP or ANCC)
• Active DEA
• Active CPR certification
• Recent experience in chronic care management and treating acute conditions
• Clear background and malpractice history required
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
