This facility operates as a 24/7 acute care hospital with a Level IV trauma designation. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support on-site clinic-based neurology services. Medical assistant support is available to assist clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period.

Arizona offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor recreational and cultural attractions throughout the state. The region features destinations such as the Grand Canyon, Saguaro National Park, and Sabino Canyon, with year-round activities including hiking, hot air balloon flights, off-road tours, and water-based pursuits. Clinicians will find diverse options during time away from clinical responsibilities, including family-oriented attractions and day trip opportunities to destinations such as Sedona and Monument Valley.

The neurology nurse practitioner will provide clinic-based neurology coverage during day shifts on an on-site basis. Clinical responsibilities include managing neurology consults and established patient visits, with Botox administration for migraines available for credentialed clinicians. Additional duties include performing EMG studies and reading EEGs as clinically indicated. No call responsibilities are associated with this locum tenens assignment, and medical assistant support is available throughout the coverage period.
