Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Estimator to support projects in Advanced Generation, Battery Storage, Utility Solar, Fuel & Natural Resources/Process, and Water & Wastewater. Responsibilities Assist in preparation and review of E & I estimates for the industries above. Understand design scope and develop quantity take‑offs. Apply productivity rates to develop man‑hour estimates. Maintain and update the estimating database and historical data. Collaborate with the estimating team to create process efficiencies. Prepare and present estimates to management. Travel to active projects for audits. Preferred Qualifications Strong E & I skillset. Industrial project field experience. Strong communication skills. Ability to work under timelines and manage multiple projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). Experience with estimating software such as SAGE Timberline or InEight. 1 to 3 years of estimating experience. Field or project experience is a plus. Minimum Qualifications 5 to 10 years of relevant experience. Eligibility to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements. Work Environment Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days of employment based on manager discretion, job performance, and work assignments. Compensation State of Colorado: $107,404 – $161,150. State of Minnesota: $102,522 – $161,150.
