Academy Performance Analyst Intern

Paid Internship Milford / Cincinnati, OH, USA Posted on July 27, 2026 FC Cincinnati is seeking an Academy Performance Analyst Intern within its Academy Performance Analysis department, reporting to the Academy Performance Analyst. You will learn and gain valuable experience in how performance analysis is used at the elite level. The internship runs approximately February to December, up to 28 hours per week; the weekly schedule follows the 1st-team fixtures and includes evenings, weekends and holidays. What you'll do: Capture academy training sessions and code both live and post-training; use the data captured in training to provide feedback to coaches and players; capture academy fixtures home and away when required (live and post-match); label academy fixtures generating KPIs at both individual and team level; create educational videos using 1st-team and other-league footage to demonstrate best practice; produce post-match analysis video for players and coaches; work with the club's data analyst to create benchmarking for academy players; complete any ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Head of Performance Analysis and Director of Player Development. What you'll bring: Good technical and tactical soccer knowledge; high level of attention to detail; ability to work unsocial hours including evenings; ability to work under pressure for long hours; superb organisational skills; represent FC Cincinnati's family-friendly brand in all capacities. What you'll need: Working toward a Performance Analysis or sports-related degree; soccer coaching qualifications (US Soccer D or equivalent).
