Decatur Manor, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF), in Decatur, IL, has immediate openings for CNAs to join our team! This is a perfect position for a CNA who has experience working in the mental health field! Must be 21 years or older.

Offering $18.00 per hour for CNA Now Offering On-Demand Pay! Get paid fast when you need it! Our consumers are ambulatory and are not bedridden, need less physical assistance and have a primary diagnosis of mental illness.

Responsibilities of the CNA in a Mental Health Setting:

• Collaborate with consumer and treatment team in facilitating therapeutic treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic care plans and activities in a compassionate and caring manner
• Recognize, note, and inform treatment team when a consumer is not at their baseline of symptoms and behaviors
• Assist medical treatment team as assigned
• Help check in all newly admitted consumers and readmissions
• Assist in the transfer of consumers to different rooms
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Other related duties as assigned

• 21 years of age or older
• Certified or deemed eligible to work in healthcare in the state of Illinois
• High school diploma and some college preferred
• Some medical or behavioral health experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Service mindset with compassion, tolerance, and understanding of adults with psychiatric disorders
