Maternal Fetal Medicine Subspecialist

Loma Linda Faculty Medical Group is seeking a passionate Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) subspecialist to join our esteemed Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The MFM Division at LLU provides primarily consultation services for faculty and community practices in the Inland Empire Region, and total care for a small pool of extremely high‑risk patients. There are specialty clinics dedicated to placenta accreta spectrum and insulin pump management. The MFM Division is currently developing a new fellowship program to support future expansion plans. The new applicant will join a team of five full‑time MFMs who are academically active, engaging in resident/fellows teaching and clinical research. Ideal candidates should have interest in developing unique specialty programs and assisting in fellowship development. Delivery and L&D coverage are optional. Responsibilities Provide exceptional patient care in Maternal Fetal Medicine to a diverse patient population from San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Engage in teaching, mentoring, and supervising residents, fellows, and medical students in clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine. Participate in a collaborative care model and contribute to clinical research initiatives. Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including a full complement of adult and pediatric subspecialties, advanced practice providers, sonographers, and genetic counselors. Share home call responsibilities; no after‑hour in‑house call. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Eligible for medical licensure in the state of California. Preferred Skills Proficiency in fetal sonography evaluation. Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications. Interest in expanding telehealth services and participating in fellowship program development. Compensation & Benefits The compensation range for starting base compensation only, which is adjusted in accordance with years of experience and/or faculty rank, is expected to be $420,000 – $500,000. Variable compensation above base is paid semi‑annually for additional productivity above benchmark. More information on compensation is discussed with the department during the recruitment process.
