Operating Room (OR)

ProTouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Contract RN - OR to join a perioperative team in Southwest Houston . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Operating Room nurse looking for a focused 8-week contract with a consistent night schedule.

Position Details

• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

• Contract Length: 8 weeks - starts ASAP

• Schedule: Monday-Thursday

• Shift: 9:00 PM-7:00 AM

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Call: No call

• Pay: $56.50/hr

What You'll Do

As an OR RN, you'll provide direct patient care throughout the perioperative process while working closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the broader surgical team.

You'll be expected to demonstrate strong clinical judgment, maintain patient safety standards, and support efficient surgical procedures in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.

Required Experience & Skills

Candidates must have:

• Active RN license

• Operating Room / perioperative nursing experience

• Circulating RN experience

• Neuro surgery experience

• General Surgery experience

• General Orthopedics experience

• Robotics experience

• Epic charting experience

Preferred Experience

The following experience is a plus:

• Charge RN experience

• Scrub nurse experience

• Multi-specialty OR experience
