Job Details We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This opportunity is perfect for a seasoned professional who is well‑versed in the intricacies of the manufacturing process, has a knack for troubleshooting, and is adept at ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery. Responsibilities Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunctions, such as leaks, wear and tear, and sound anomalies. Implement preventive maintenance measures and conduct routine servicing to keep machinery and mechanical equipment in optimal working condition. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for manufacturing equipment including injection molding machines, extrusion machines, and other related equipment. Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment. Read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to perform installation or repair tasks. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work done, including the date of service, the nature of tasks, and any parts replaced. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in the Manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles. Proficiency in repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment, particularly injection molding machines and extrusion machines. Solid understanding of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Strong technical understanding and ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage time efficiently to meet deadlines. Proven experience with injection molding, injection molded plastic, extruded plastic, and extrusion.
