Physical Therapist (PT) – Outpatient | Days

Join a respected outpatient rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist (PT) providing high-quality, patient-centered care in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan . This is an excellent opportunity for therapists who enjoy working in an outpatient setting and helping patients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function.

Position Details

• Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapy

• Location: Sault Ste. Marie, MI

• Shift: Days | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

• Schedule: 8-hour shifts

• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

• No Weekends

• No On-Call

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using formal and informal assessments to determine functional limitations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician orders and patient needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function.

• Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as appropriate.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and recovery strategies.

• Collaborate with physicians, therapy assistants, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Michigan Physical Therapist License

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

• Previous Physical Therapist experience

• Previous Outpatient Physical Therapy experience

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment

Preferred Skills

• Strong communication and patient education skills

• Excellent clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities

• Experience with Epic EMR is a plus
