Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Roanoke Rapids, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:00 AMTue12:00 AM - 08:00 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-control concerns to appropriate personnel. Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
