About the Role

This is a founding product marketing role at a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in the construction technology space. The company is at Series A stage and operating across four markets (New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and the United States), and they need someone who can build the product marketing function from the ground up, own positioning across multiple segments and geographies, and drive go-to-market execution for product and partner launches.

The ideal candidate has 5 to 8 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, has built a product marketing function before, and is genuinely energized by ambiguity and autonomy. You are a sharp strategic thinker who can also roll up your sleeves and execute. You translate complex products into clear, compelling messaging, and you know how to move fast across product, sales, and marketing without losing alignment. Experience in construction tech, proptech, or marketing to technical or field-based buyers is a meaningful plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own positioning and messaging across segments (general contractors, owners, developers), personas (project managers, digital teams), and geographies (New Zealand, Australia, Canada, United States)
2. Build the product marketing function from the ground up: audit existing assets, define the playbook, and execute against it with urgency
3. Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for new product launches, partner launches, and feature releases across all four markets
4. Own the sales enablement program end to end, including battlecards, competitive objection guides, one-pagers, ROI calculators, demo scripts, and ongoing deal coaching
5. Design and ship AI-powered workflows to accelerate competitive monitoring, customer research synthesis, content drafting, and enablement generation
6. Lead the upcoming website rebuild, owning the positioning and messaging strategy from brief through launch
7. Synthesize customer interviews, win/loss data, and market signals into actionable insights that inform product roadmap and sales motion
8. Coach regional marketing managers on messaging and positioning across their demand generation channels

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 to 8 years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
• Demonstrated track record of building a product marketing function from scratch at one or more tech organizations
• Experience leading end-to-end go-to-market launches, not just contributing to them within a large existing team
• Ability to develop positioning across multiple segments, personas, and geographies simultaneously
• Strong cross-functional collaborator who can translate fluently between product, sales, and marketing
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and self-directing in an evolving, fast-paced environment
• Based in Austin, TX and able to work hybrid (3 days per week in office)
• Able and willing to travel 2 to 3 times per quarter
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (US citizen or permanent resident)

Preferred Skills

• Experience in construction technology, proptech, or marketing to technical or field-based buyers
• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or similar construction platforms
• Experience with AI and marketing automation tools to scale content and research workflows
• Background marketing to buyers at $10M+ ARR businesses with high-velocity sales cycles
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing or a related field
