CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:

Assist residents with daily activities and provide quality bedside care in long-term care or skilled nursing facility settings. Ensure compliance with safety and health standards while supporting patient comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans.
• Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA licensure or certification required.
• Proven experience working in LTC or SNF settings preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion and excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to work flexible shifts.
• Compliance with vaccination requirements, including COVID-19 vaccination or exemption documentation.
