Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney – Greenville, SC

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join a growing legal team in Greenville, South Carolina . The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, excellent legal writing and advocacy skills, and the ability to independently manage cases from inception through resolution.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina.
• Litigation experience, with insurance defense experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage insurance defense litigation matters from initial case evaluation through trial or settlement.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Develop case strategies in collaboration with attorneys and legal staff.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other legal professionals.
• Manage multiple cases while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality legal work.
