Private Swim Instructor is responsible for providing quality, safety, and client experience through private swim instruction. The role requires developing instructional programs, ensuring water safety, managing paperwork, and delivering professional coaching across all skill levels. Primary Accountabilities Quality/No Harm Design individualized instructional programs based on age and skill level. Incorporate water safety in all instruction. Offer the finest swim instruction available in Brevard County. Maintain national certification and stay current with developments in swim instruction. Customer Experience Connect with clients personally yet professionally. Communicate effectively and professionally in all situations. Stewardship Complete client paperwork and ensure payment is processed before lessons. Begin and end lessons at assigned times. Track and record time spent with each client. Recommend additional sessions when appropriate. Work Experience and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Current American Heart Association BLS Certification. WSI, SwimAmerica, ASCA or other nationally recognized swim instructor/coach certification. Certification approved by Pro‑Health & Fitness Centers. Physical Demands Assist clients in water as needed. Teach all ages and skill levels. Perform water safety skills for emergencies as directed by the EAP. Complete additional duties as assigned.
