Patient Scheduler

To support patient services, the full-time Patient Scheduler I will be responsible for pre-registering and scheduling moderately complex procedures, ensuring patients are well-informed and prepared for their appointments while maintaining communication with hospital departments. Key responsibilities Schedules patient appointments according to departmental availability and ensures all necessary information is collected for proper billing Maintains open communication with hospital departments regarding schedule changes and provides accurate information for daily appointment management Performs various administrative support duties, including sorting and distributing mail and correspondence as needed Required qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent At least two (2) years of related customer-facing experience Preferred experience in call center, patient scheduling, or physician front-office roles Preferred experience in a healthcare setting Demonstrated understanding of basic medical terminology is preferred
