Health & Safety Technician

Phoenix, United States | Posted on 09/29/2026 Key Responsibilities Conduct routine safety audits, site inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Monitor contractor activities, identify unsafe behaviors or conditions, and exercise stop-work authority when necessary to protect personnel and the jobsite. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, safety observations, incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance records. Support emergency preparedness by assisting with responses to medical, fire, chemical, or other site-related incidents and ensuring emergency equipment remains operational. Deliver safety orientations, verify contractor training requirements, and reinforce safe work practices through regular field engagement and coaching. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of construction safety, field safety, or EHS experience. OSHA 510 certification required. Previous experience supporting semiconductor construction, equipment installation, water/wastewater, industrial construction, or similar technical project environments preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA construction regulations, hazard recognition, contractor safety management, and jobsite compliance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic safety documentation systems.
