The company's commitment to finding new and better ways to RECLAIM, RECYCLE and REUSE bridges the sustainability goals of scrap tire generators nationwide with those of local scrap rubber consumers.The CDL Driver (A) - Yard position requires a qualified individual to move trailers and equipment throughout the facility, conduct inspections of equipment, report defects to dispatch or supervisors, and operate yard and material handling equipment in a dirty, wet, and noisy environment in all weather conditions.Duties and Responsibilities:Operate yard trucks and equipment safely during procedures involving both loaded and empty containersTransfer and reposition trailers within the yard and designated areasAssist with staging and organizing trailers for loading and unloadingComplete necessary paperwork including trailer numbers, weights, and material typeInspect equipment before and after use and report any issues to dispatch or supervisorAssist in loading and unloading tasks as neededBack trailers into designated areas for efficient operationsCollaborate with team members to maintain smooth yard operationsAdhere to safety standards and company policies at all timesMaintain yard equipment in good working conditionSkills and Abilities:Strong attention to detail and commitment to safetyReliable and cooperative team memberAbility to work in hot, cold, wet, and dirty conditionsAbility to safely operate yard equipment in a fast-paced environmentAbility to learn trailer positioning and backing techniquesWillingness to be trained and certified to operate a forkliftExcellent communication skillsEducation and Experience:Minimum of one year of relevant yard, warehouse, or industrial experiencePrior experience in tire recycling or manufacturing is a plusAbility to learn and operate yard trucks and equipment safelyBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceEEO Statement:Liberty Tire Recycling is an equal opportunity employer.
