Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Clayton, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting loss prevention efforts. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, driver, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least six months of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
