Equipment Operator (Tipping Floor)

About the role We seek a dedicated individual who will be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of fork trucks, front end loaders, vacuum trucks, metal drum shredder, excavator, and a facility street sweeper. This position reports to the NHIW Manager and is responsible for the off‑loading of box van trailers on shift, following all plant operating and safety procedures and policies. This position will also perform daily preventative maintenance tasks required for the upkeep and operation of various assigned equipment. Essential Functions Maintains and follows all Reworld environmental compliance, health and safety requirements, policies, procedures, and rules. Follows standard safety procedures. Corrects safety and environmental hazards and reports them to the supervisor immediately. Operates and completes all inspections on the front‑end loader. Works overtime and/or rotating shifts as required. Hours and Work Schedule Rotating shift with overtime and/or rotating shifts as required. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent coupled with knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment. Related industrial plant experience is a plus. The final salary offered will be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements, and/or union contracts, if applicable.
