Position Summary Quality Engineer to design and deliver efficient technical software solutions in furtherance of quality engineering (QE) standards for multiple software applications. Duties include: develop and execute software testing strategies for large, complex, manual testing efforts; document software defects using bug tracking systems; analyze and report QE performance metrics; construct quality dashboards and management reports; evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes; confirm that testing approaches meet project objectives; communicate with business partners; collaborate with peer organizations, quality assurance, end users; direct software system testing and validation procedures; present technical information; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings; drive end‑to‑end test activities for projects used to process prescriptions, claims and related healthcare activities; collaborate with cross‑functional teams on applications development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance and software development best practices. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. Requirements Five (5) years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Five (5) years of experience in each of the following: CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps; Five (5) years of experience in Agile methodologies and SAFe Software Development Principles; Five (5) years of experience in Java, Python, or Node.js; Five (5) years of experience in XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript; Five (5) years of experience in REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs; Five (5) years of experience in Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Five (5) years of experience in JIRA, Rally, and Confluence; Five (5) years of experience in Typescript and Object‑oriented JavaScript; Five (5) years of experience in SAS or SQL programming languages; Five (5) years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices; Five (5) years of experience in Software testing, quality assurance and troubleshooting; Five (5) years of experience in Web and mobile applications development; Five (5) years of experience in Automation development using Selenium and UFT; Five (5) years of experience in VBScript; Five (5) years of experience in Developing modular, reusable, and maintainable automated tests to be integrated into existing automation framework. Pay Range $115,253.00/year to $144,200.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
