An urgent opportunity is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL, supporting a dynamic community health setting. This contract role begins immediately and spans approximately eight weeks, with potential for extension based on performance and fit.


Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-volume retail pharmacy duties including accurate data entry and medication dispensing
• Maintain a fast pace while ensuring precision and adherence to patient care standards
• Support proactive pharmacy operations by identifying needs and assisting teammates
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members to enhance patient support and care

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Florida Pharmacy Technician license required
• Minimum of two years recent experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment; candidates with older experience will not be considered
• Experience dispensing HIV/AIDS medications is mandatory and must be clearly indicated on your resume
• Proficient with QS1 pharmacy software or similar systems
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient support and maintain strong communication channels with healthcare providers
• Commitment to punctuality, attendance, positive attitude, and teamwork
