This role also leads the student services functions to enhance the overall candidate experience, bolster student retention, and drive graduation success. Key responsibilities encompass Recruitment, Admissions, Student Advising, Campus Operations, Orientation, Commencement & Community Activities, and resolving student issues.\nIn addition to serving as the on-campus Student Advisor, the Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor is the primary individual responsible for managing day-to-day campus operations, making local management decisions, and overseeing campus activities. This position also supervises onsite IT and facilities support roles and shares a reporting relationship with other campus staff, including those in Admissions and Financial Aid, within a matrix environment.\n \nSalary Range: $70,304 - $72,820.18 annualized exempt position.\nBenefits Plans Include: Medical/Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Voluntary Life and AD&D, Voluntary Benefit Plans: Accident, Critical Illness, or Hospital Indemnity Insurance, Legal Plan, Transportation Spending Account, Employee Tuition Waiver.Qualifications\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation: Master’s degree in Education, Counseling or Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience: Two to five (2-5) years of progressively responsible higher education student/academic advising or closely related professional experience, preferably in graduate or professional education. Supervision experience of professional staff preferred. Demonstrated success in leading teams of diverse employees as well as experience with enlivening and fostering a climate that values and embraces all forms of human diversity.\nCertifications, Licenses, etc.: None.\n \n\nAdditional Information\n\nSkills:\n• Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (especially, Word & Excel), CARS, CX integrated database or equivalent databases.\n• Supervision skills needed as well as advanced advising skills, effective organization and written and oral communication skills, substantial teaching and advising skills.\n• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (both in writing and verbally) with a diverse student, faculty and community is essential\n• Sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to communicate and interact effectively with people of all ages and diverse background.\n• The position requires multi-tasking abilities, exceptional interpersonal/cross-cultural communication skills,\n• A high degree of multicultural and international competency,\n• The ability to organize and plan work, and the ability to complete tasks with accuracy and meet deadlines.\n• Proven ability to work effectively as a team player.\n• Highly motivated, focused and results oriented.\n• Ability to exercise discretion and tact in all interpersonal contacts, and to maintain confidentiality at all times.\n• Ability to manage multiple tasks according to required deadlines and maintain composure under high stress conditions.\n• Ability to be optimistic, positive and supportive in all interactions with others.\n• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.\n \nDuties & Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\n• The Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor serves as the Student Advisor for students enrolled at the campus and facilitates seamless integration of the student experience from the point of admission through degree completion.\n• Responsible for assisting students with course transfer credit evaluation, course registration, study plans, degree audits, advancement to candidacy, dispute resolution, and accessing university resources.\n• Supports campus recruitment and admissions efforts by collaborating with the business development and admissions teams to support in the planning and implementation of recruitment activities and prospective student engagement.\n• Responsible for planning and leading New Student Orientation and Commencement in partnership with campus committees, the Director of Events, and the AVP of Campus and Student Services.\n• Serves as the campus liaison to university-wide student support services including the Office of Accessibility, International Student Services, Military/Veterans Affairs, Career Services, and Tutoring Services.\n• Develop, implement, and monitor a proactive advising and appreciative advising model to support student success.\n• In partnership with the campus community, implement and execute the Net Promoter Score action plan to improve student success (i.e., retention, persistence, and graduation rates) and enhance student satisfaction.\n• Serves as the advisor to the Student Government Association on campus.\n• Responsible for the operational effectiveness, growth, and successful day-to-day operation of the assigned campus. Provide leadership, oversight, and management for IT and facilities.\n• Ensure Human Resources policies and procedures are upheld to assure compliance with federal and state regulations, university policies, and collective bargaining agreements.\n• Perform other related tasks, duties, and responsibilities as required, assigned, or directed.\n \nSupervisory Responsibility:\nDirect Reports: Advisor(s), IT/Facilities Coordinator, Campus Resource Coordinator, Security, Student Assistants and other campus support roles.\nIndirect Reports: The following campus positions report to the Associate Campus Director, Student Advisor in a matrix relationship with the functional leadership of the University: Admissions and Financial Aid\n \nContact Responsibility:\nInternal: Interacts with supervisor to receive direction and instructions and/or review of work results. This position with work closely with colleagues in multiple departments including Academic Deans, campus-based Program Directors, Associate Provosts, Human Resources and IT Departments as well as other University Campus Managers/Directors to support both students and colleagues in achieving student success and Department goals.
