Junior Accountant - Growth & Mentorship

Junior Accountant Our client, a growing and well-established organization in Fairfield County, is looking to add a Junior Accountant to their accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience and grow within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities Prepare journal entries and support month-end close processes Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts Maintain accurate financial records and assist with account analysis Support invoice processing, payment tracking, and expense reporting Assist with preparing financial reports and audit schedules Work closely with senior accounting staff on special projects and process improvements Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Internship or prior accounting experience preferred Strong Microsoft Excel skills Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting department Why Join?
