Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg (Travel) for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, GA, starting August 17, 2026. Weekly pay ranges from $1,620 to $1,665 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is Night, 12-hour shifts on a 2x3 block. Work setting: a hospital-based Med/Surg unit (30 beds) on a dedicated education unit; travel nurses will care for Med/Surg patients. No planned time off (no RTO) during the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adults on a Med/Surg unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Monitor patient conditions, respond to changes, and escalate as needed
- Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform routine procedures within scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the medical record
- Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition of care

Requirements
- Active RN license (Georgia or eligible to practice per state requirements)
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience in a level 1 trauma or mid-large hospital setting
- Ability to work night shifts on a 12-hour schedule in a 30-bed Med/Surg unit
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited program
