Vacancy Announcement Salmon School District #291 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Head Track & Field Coach Job Description To instruct students in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and/or team success. At the same time, provide direction that will assist the player in developing moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence. Position will last the duration of the Jr. High Track season. Attend all Jr. High Track Meets. Be a positive role model. Qualifications Ability to pass a background check. (Fingerprint and background check expenses are the responsibility of the applicant.) Coaching experience preferred. Must have a satisfactory knowledge base of the technical aspects of the sport or activity and the ability to work under the direction of a head coach. Must have ability to communicate and use good judgment in dealing with personnel, students, and parents. Hours: Flexible weekend hours are necessary to meet the demands of the schedule.
