About This Role The Addiction Counselor provides professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit, focusing on diagnosing and treating health problems through various nursing methods and techniques. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting patient well-being and working in a collaborative healthcare environment. Highlights Pay : $112,775/year Location : Brooklyn, NY Facility : Bellevue Department/Unit : MED/SURG INTENSIVE CARE 10WN Schedule : Full-Time, Night (7:00 P.M – 7:30 A.M) What You'll Do Identify and discriminate between physical and psycho-social signs and symptoms. Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate the nursing regimen for assigned patients/clients. Record and maintain nursing care plans and progress notes on patients/clients. Interpret and report responses of patients/clients to appropriate members of the health team. Participate with interdisciplinary health team members to plan a comprehensive patient care program. Determine and assign components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel. Provide teaching, guidance, and direction to allied nursing personnel in patient care. Participate in defining, implementing, maintaining, and interpreting standards of nursing practice. Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary conferences regarding nursing practice policies. Maintain professional competence through participation in continuing education and learning experiences. Requirements Experience: One year of previous RN experience preferred. Additional Compensation Annual education differential based on degree: Bachelors in allied health discipline = $900 Masters in allied health discipline = $1,200 Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) = $1,800 Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) = $2,000 Doctorate in Education, Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing (DNP) = $2,500 Annual certification differential ranging from $1,878 up to $4,878 for nationally recognized certifications. $1,878
