Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory guidelines
- Assist pharmacists with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceutical supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and resolving medication-related issues
- Support daily pharmacy operations to ensure timely processing of prescriptions
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or equivalent credentials
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy terminology, prescriptions, and medication types (RX)
- Ability to work efficiently with attention to detail and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
