We are looking for a kind, dependable, and compassionate live-in caregiver to assist an elderly gentleman in his home in Valdosta, GA. He primarily uses a wheelchair but can stand and walk short distances with a walker and assistance. Care includes assistance with bathing and dressing, mobility and fall prevention, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and general supervision. This is a live-in position in a private home with a private bedroom and access to a separate bathroom from the client. Pay is $120 per day for 16 hours of paid care, with an 8-hour designated overnight sleep/rest period. The caregiver is expected to remain in the home overnight, but no duties are ordinarily expected during the sleep period. If care is needed overnight, that time will be recorded and compensated.
