Mechanical Designer

Job TitleDevelop layout drawings and corrugating line layout drawings for new sites, as well as integrate new equipment in existing corrugators. Includes some travel, technical calculations, layout drawings, and final installation drawingsCAD Department Work:1. Maintain all CAD related software.a. AutoCAD and SolidWorks2. Understand all CAD related hardware and software configurations.3. Staying current with CAD updates, trends and latest releases.4. Participate in CAD seminars and/or classes to stay current with technology.Required Travel – Varied, typical maximum 30% (75 Business days):1. Installation measure up2. Mechanical design project (to survey the project in the field).3. Travel on layout design reviews with sales department to customer sites4.
