Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.You Have:10+ years of experience in the analysis and design of complex IT solutions, including integrating or interfacing between multiple software applications, processing platforms, and software products5+ years of experience with artificial intelligence, data science, or machine learning engineering5+ years of experience with software development5+ years of experience with DevSecOps practices such as containerization, orchestration, CI/CD, and automated testing adapted for custom toolchain environmentsExperience with agentic AI or deep learningExperience with independent, self-directed research Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice designAbility to quickly learn about and distill a wide variety of complex technical topics into core concepts understandable by general audiences Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceBachelor’s degree in a STEM fieldNice If You Have:Experience leading technical development and technical research teams Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs) or Model Context Protocol (MCP)TS/SCI clearanceMaster’s degree in a STEM field preferredClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
