Essential Functions Assist in preparing the restaurant for dining service by setting up the section, including polishing and preparing items such as linens, silverware, and glassware before they go to the floor, and assisting with setting them at the table. Greet all guests and co‑workers in a warm, personal, friendly manner. Assist Service Team as needed by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters throughout guests’ meal, and taking them to the kitchen for cleaning. After a guest has finished dining, prepare the table by clearing, cleaning, and resetting it for the next guest. Assist guests with any requests or concerns and take action to correct any problems. Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens throughout the service period. Assist in removing trash from full receptacles and replacing liners. Take extra care to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in each duty performed. Stock service areas with supplies as required. Be dependable, report to work as scheduled and on time, and follow all policies regarding scheduling and attendance. Work in a safe manner and report any safety concerns; personal, employee or guest injury. Follow food safety program guidelines of handwashing, bare hands, hygiene, and health. Qualifications Guest oriented – ability to take care of the guests’ needs while following T S procedures. Working under pressure – ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations. Safety – ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety and to safely operate and handle all required equipment, appliances, and tools. Must follow all safety policies and procedures. Active listening – ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others. Communication – ability to communicate effectively and clearly with guests, coworkers, and management. Response to direction – receive and follow directions from supervisors and follow direction of computer‑generated tickets. Friendly – ability to exhibit a cheerful demeanor toward others. Neat and well‑groomed. Skills & Abilities Experience: No prior restaurant experience required although useful. Certificates & Licenses: Must take and pass all training tests 90% or higher. Must be at least 16 years of age.
