Buying Apprentice

Overview: The Buying Apprentice assists the dealership's buying division in sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing pre-owned vehicles. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in vehicle appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition while learning dealership processes and market dynamics.

- Manage inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and other internet based communication systems
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and follow up on leads to ensure satisfaction
- Confirm appointments each day in a timely fashion
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
- Work closely with the buying division to provide accurate information to customers.
- Be available to respond to phone and email inquiries in a professional, well-spoken manner
- Demonstrate dependability and attention to detail
- Display good time management skills by being productive with your time
- Display a sense of competitiveness and desire to do well in your role
- Support buyers with vehicle appraisals and market research
- Learn to identify profitable inventory opportunities
- Assist with customer trade-in evaluations and private party purchases
- Open availability including evenings and weekends.
- Clean driving record
- Valid California drivers license.
- Ability to obtain a sales license from the DMV.
- Clean background check.
- Professional communication skills
