Engineering Manager

We are partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Port Huron, MI area who is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and develop its engineering team while driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field (Required)
- 7+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, including experience leading projects, teams, or engineering initiatives (Required)
- Proven ability to lead and develop engineering teams while driving accountability and performance
- Experience managing new product launches, engineering projects, and cross functional initiatives
- Strong background in process improvement, root cause problem solving, and operational excellence
- Ability to work closely with manufacturing, quality, and leadership teams to improve quality, productivity, and capacity
- Experience implementing systems, processes, and workflows that improve engineering execution and project delivery
- Comfortable making decisions in a fast paced manufacturing environment and balancing technical and business priorities
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop technical talent
- Experience with automotive, engineered products, or other highly technical manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, DFMEA, GD&T, or similar engineering and product launch methodologies preferred
