Periodontic Dental Assistant - 1 day/week (Tuesdays)

Periodontic Dental Assistant Our amazing practices here at Wellesley Dental Arts is seeking a Perio Dental Assistant to support our Periodontist in delivering exceptional care. We are a well established practices and a fun, upbeat team! Our staff is supportive and encouraging. Schedule: 1 Day/Week - Tuesdays Responsibilities: Strive to provide the best patient experience Support and Assist Periodontist chairside with clinical treatment of patients. Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health. Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process. Take radiographs/x-rays Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of Periodontic Dental Assisting experience CRP Certification- Radiography/ X-RAY certification per state guidelines Well versed in dental terminology and procedures Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
