Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, including emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges.

• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing various therapeutic techniques to support clients dealing with issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.

• Lead couples and family therapy sessions to enhance communication and resolve relationship conflicts, employing effective interventions to promote harmony.

• Design customized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique circumstances, establishing tangible objectives and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing urgent mental health challenges, ensuring immediate support and safety.

• Offer educational resources to clients and their families regarding mental health awareness, coping strategies, and community resources that support recovery.

• Maintain precise and confidential client records utilizing our secure electronic health record (EHR) system—documenting assessments, treatment progress, and compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Uphold ethical counseling practices, ensuring client confidentiality, informed consent, and adherence to licensure standards in all interactions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
