Sales and Service Technician

Job Category Retail Position Summary The Retail Sales and Service Technician (SST) is a hybrid role for Firestone Complete Auto Care stores. The SST serves customers by assessing needs, recommending products and services, performing entry‑level vehicle services, and ensuring satisfaction through timely, thorough completion of services. This role is a key pipeline for future career growth and requires flexibility between front‑office customer interactions and basic back‑shop vehicle service tasks. Key Responsibilities Customer service, sales, and customer issue resolution – 75% of the role Basic vehicle service tasks such as oil changes, tire installations, and fluid service – 25% of the role Store operations including opening/closing, inventory management, and displays – as needed May assist or act as Manager‑On‑Duty in certain circumstances to support career development Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Valid automobile driver's license Strong customer service orientation and growth mindset Ability to learn and perform basic vehicle service tasks Ability to learn and operate store systems Preferred Qualifications 2‑year degree or non‑traditional education through a training program, certification, or other growth‑focused credential Previous consumer retail sales experience Previous automotive experience (a plus) Previous management or supervisory experience (a plus) Benefits Medical, dental, and vision – starting day1 for all teammates Paid vacation and holidays On‑job training and company‑funded ASE certifications Flexible work schedule 401(k) match On‑demand pay (daily pay) program available Equal Employment Opportunity Bridgestone is a proud Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
