Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) needed for a travel assignment in Lancaster, Ohio. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: 8 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. No weekends and no on-call. Work setting: short-term acute care hospital environment. Weekly pay range: $2,464–$2,635. This is a travel temporary assignment seeking a skilled professional to deliver prescribed radiotherapy treatments under physician direction and with adherence to standards of care.

Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed radiotherapy treatments using appropriate equipment according to physician orders and established standards.
- Obtain patient history, answer questions, and explain procedures; monitor patients for reactions or events during treatment.
- Verify prescriptions, patient identification, and chart accuracy; document treatment results and progress.
- Prepare treatment room and equipment; assist with patient positioning, transfers, and immobilization as required.
- Coordinate with physicists, nurses, and ancillary staff; communicate treatment plans and any changes as directed.
- Perform verification exposures (port films) and adjust therapy per physician instructions; support patient education on side effects and care.

Requirements
- Education: Associate degree in radiography with certification in radiation therapy; Bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy preferred; graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program and ARRT-registered in Radiation Therapy.
- Licensure/Certifications: State of Ohio licensed Radiation Therapist; ARRT certification; CPR certified.
- Experience: 1–2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred; Truebeam/ARIA experience preferred.
- Other: Ability to work in a travel assignment with a 40-hour workweek; compliance with hospital/department policies and safety standards.
