Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Key Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments; inspect for damage, verify quantities, and match against purchase orders and packing slips Accurately enter receipts into ERP/WMS systems Label, store, and organize materials in designated warehouse locations Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, and staging orders Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment Coordinate with production, purchasing, and logistics to prioritize material flow Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and regular audits Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including proper forklift operation Handle documentation such as bills of lading, shipping manifests, and carrier paperwork Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods to appropriate teams Qualifications And Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1–3 years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) Basic computer skills (ERP/WMS experience preferred) Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment operation Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
