Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date: 08/17/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Earn $1,599 to $1,662 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed medical-surgical unit for adult and older adult populations, maintaining a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Monitor trauma patients and administer heparin drips and other acute medications as ordered; observe for adverse effects and respond to changes in condition.
• document comprehensive assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EPIC EMR; ensure accurate medication administration and telemetry as applicable.
• Utilize unit equipment such as gait belts, geriatric chairs, and rehabilitation tools to support mobility, safety, and functional goals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (PT/OT, rehab services, and physicians) to support care plans and ongoing patient education and discharge planning.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards; participate in rounds and care coordination activities as assigned.

Requirements

• Documentation of med/telemetry experience; familiarity with acute medications on a med-surg/telemetry unit
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adult and older adult populations; capable of following unit checklists and protocols
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and participate in the 2x3 Days shift pattern
• No RTO (time-off) requests permitted for this assignment
