Contract | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a busy community Adult and Pediatric Emergency Department with 27 beds
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 4:1 ratio, with flexibility during peak census periods
• Care for a wide variety of patient presentations including stroke, medical, and trauma cases
• Participate in weekend shifts on a variable schedule, with approximately 5–6 weekend shifts expected per assignment period
• Observe holiday coverage requirements, including one major and one minor holiday

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• PALS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Experience with both Adult and Pediatric emergency patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a stroke center or high-acuity community emergency department setting
• Ability to adapt to variable census demands and fluctuating patient volumes
