Fleet Manager

Purpose: This role is responsible for managing a diverse fleet of vehicles, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing operations, and enhancing overall fleet efficiency. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage resources effectively across various locations. Responsibilities Fleet Management: Oversee the daily operations of fleet, including vehicle procurement, maintenance, and disposal across multiple states. Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with federal, state and local regulations, including safety, environmental, and licensing requirements. Budget Management: Develop and manage the fleet budget, monitor expenses and discuss/implement cost saving initiatives. Performance Optimization: Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement, implement best practices, and enhance operational efficiency. Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for vehicle purchases, maintenance services and fuel management. Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and operational costs to senior management. Requirements Education and Experience Experience as a Fleet Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on multi-state operations. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel frequently. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to vehicle operation and safety. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license.
