The Financial Accounting Manageris responsible foremanging thefinancialclose process and related activities, ensuringaccuracy and completeness ofthe related TJXFinancial Statements, as well as presenting andproviding analysis of thesefinancial statements.The Financial Accounting Manager is also responsible forthe hiring,supervision,and developmentofa team of accountants. Manage the development and provide mentorship and training to 2-3Financial Accountants.Delegate work and assignments. Review journal entries, accountreconciliationsand complex accounting transactions to ensure accuracy of Financial Statements Review and analyze Financial Statementsandsupporting schedules/disclosures– P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Forms 10-Q, 10-K,etc. with a focus on accuracy and timeliness and conformity with US GAAP Ensure control environment and SOX controls are maintained Ownthe oversight of special projects, managementpresentationsand Ad Hoc requests Independently lead the accounting team in meetings with business partners on accounting matters Identify & implement opportunities for operational improvement & efficiencies Researchandinterpret new and recently issued accounting standards Lead discussions with Internal andExternalauditors with related audits Who We Are Looking For: You. 5+ years of Accounting, Audit or Finance experience Prior management experience (1to2+ Years Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent CPA/MBA a plus Public Accounting a plus Technical accounting andstrongunderstanding of GAAP (public/private or mix) Excellentinterpersonal/ relationshipsskills/Strong communicationskills (verbal and written) Proventrack recordto delegate and lead team toaccomplishbusiness goals, Ability to assess and develop talent Organizational and time management skills Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment and prioritizeoptimally, with consideration of broader team goals Experience leading presentations to senior management Adaptable, dynamicproblem solverwith solutioning skills Shownproficiencywith Microsoft Office Applications Oracle/ERPexperienceandexposure toOneStream reporting a plus Project management experience Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
