MRI Technologist (Weekend Option) BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full‑Time MRI Technologist (Weekend Option) for Christian Hospital, 11133 Dunn Rd., St. Louis, MO. $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible candidates. Weekend Premium Pay: 50% extra on hourly rate for weekend hours. Position Details Day Shift Hours: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.) Weekend Day Schedule: Work just 3 days a week—maximize pay and enjoy 4 consecutive days off. Full‑Time (36 hours per week) 2 years MRI experience (preferred) Registered MRI tech (RT‑MR, ARRT) or AMRIT Location near: Alton, IL / Godfrey, IL / Edwardsville, IL / Collinsville, IL / Granite City, IL / Bridgeton, MO / Saint Ann, MO / Roxana, IL / Wood River, IL / Spanish Lake, MO / Bethalto, IL / Florissant, MO / Black Jack, IL Responsibilities Prepare patient and equipment for procedures. Perform studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and any required site. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnostic and/or treatment purposes. Ensure quality control of imaging equipment and studies. Maintain patient records and confidentiality. Requirements Associate degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher education). Certification/Registered Technologist in Radiography (R‑T(R) or MR). One year commitment to the position. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose: Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Minimum Requirements: Education: Associate or Trade School equivalency. Experience: No prior experience required, but Supervisor Experience: None required. Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI); RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation; Intravenous Therapy.
