About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Capital Markets to lead a transformative phase in its lending business. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the strategic multi-year funding roadmap, with a focus on aligning institutional investor demand with credit risk, origination types, and liquidity targets. This role demands a distinguished leader with a proven track record in consumer structured finance, investment banking, or fintech capital markets, and a deep understanding of credit risk. The VP will be tasked with driving the AI-enabled capital allocation engine, building an improved data and analytics foundation, and formulating and expanding product capabilities. Cross-functional engagement and a transparent, proactive leadership style are essential, as is the ability to manage a diverse, high-performing team. Applicants for the Vice President, Capital Markets position at the company should have a minimum of 12 years' of senior experience in a relevant field, with at least 3-5 years' in a leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline is required, with a preference for an MBA, CFA, or advanced degree. The role calls for a technical and leadership expert, capable of managing a programmatic ABS platform and negotiating complex funding facilities. The ideal candidate will have an owner mindset, be a transparent communicator, and a people and culture leader, with a focus on fostering a results-oriented, strategic impact. Responsibilities include the management of the funding stack, driving the AI-enabled capital allocation engine, and leading the strategic formulation of the company's product suite.
