LeMay/PCR, aWaste Connectionscompany, is hiring aNon-Union Relief DriverinFrederickson, Washington.This is a great opportunity for experienced CDL driversseekinglocal, consistent routes,top-tier pay, and a company that valuessafety, stability, and awork-life balance.As a Non-Union Relief Driver, you'll operate a garbage truck on assigned routes to safely collect and transport solid waste while performing physically demanding work and delivering excellentcustomer service.Pay & ScheduleStarting Pay Range:$37.00 - $38.50 per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 AM and continuinguntil route completion. Averaging approximately 45 hours per week, with occasional overtime and Saturday shifts as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate agarbage truckon local routes to collect solid wasteFollow route sheets and dispatcher instructions to service customersConductpre- and post-trip inspections, checking fluids, tires, and safety equipmentOperatehydraulic hand controlsto lift and load refusePerformphysically demanding work, including loading/unloading waste without assistanceInteract courteously with customers and perform other related duties as assignedWorking Conditions & Physical EffortRequiresextensive physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 poundsExposure tooutdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet/humid conditions, fumes, and vibrationWork environment includesmoving mechanical partsand moderate noise levelsMust follow allsafety protocols and proceduresMinimum Job RequirementsValidClass A or B CDLwith air brake endorsementAt least2 years of relevant experiencein a similar roleAbility to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in EnglishHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredBasic knowledge of truck components for conductingpre- and post-trip inspectionsSafety-Sensitive RoleThis is asafety-sensitive position.
