Job Description Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread. Our model is decentralized, with each geographic area led by a Market Leader and supervised by Area Directors, General Managers, Assistant Managers, and Team Managers. Position Description Our Panera Bread cafés are upscale, friendly environments featuring baked breads, pastries, soup, salad, sandwich, and specialty espresso beverages. No fryers and no late nights—our culture is grease‑ and alcohol‑free. Managers typically operate in the mornings and oversee up to 75 associates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a role‑model and lead the team. Ensure team members provide great customer service. Own the business performance of the restaurant. Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards. Run quality opening, mid, and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience. Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts. Greet customers and perform table visits to ensure satisfaction. Recruit, train, and motivate staff. Assist specialists within the bakery‑café to ensure proper training and competence. Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines. Project a professional image and embody Flynn Panera’s values and beliefs. Education and Experience 1–2 years of hospitality experience. Food management certifications are a plus. Demonstrated “run it like you own it” mentality. Excellent organization, customer service, and time‑management skills. Proof of leadership track‑record. Passion, energy, and a positive attitude. Ability to work under pressure with a diverse group of people. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Reference checks required.
