Role Description The Treatment Coordinator role at SUMMERS ORTHODONTICS is a full-time, on-site position located in Greer, SC. The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for guiding patients and families through the orthodontic treatment process, including explaining recommended treatment plans, financial options, and scheduling needs. Daily tasks include conducting new patient consultations, answering questions in person and by phone, coordinating appointments with clinical staff, and ensuring accurate documentation in practice management systems. The role also involves preparing treatment presentations, following up with prospective patients, and supporting efficient patient flow throughout the day. The Treatment Coordinator collaborates closely with orthodontists, clinical assistants, and front office staff to deliver a positive, well-organized patient experience. Qualifications Experience in patient-facing roles, ideally in dental, orthodontic, or healthcare office settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain treatment and financial options clearly and professionally. Solid organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple appointments, follow-ups, and documentation accurately. Comfort with basic computer and practice management software; ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Attention to detail when preparing treatment plans, financial arrangements, and patient records. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and maintain a calm, welcoming demeanor with patients of all ages. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education or training in healthcare administration, dental assisting, or a related field is a plus.
