Named Account Manager- Cinn.OH

Role Overview As a Named Account Manager, you will manage approximately 20 enterprise accounts with 6,000–50,000 mailboxes, working to expand Proofpoint’s footprint and protect customers from advanced threats. You will collaborate closely with internal and external ecosystem partners to upsell and cross‑sell the full Proofpoint Platform. Responsibilities Develop and execute account plans and identify add‑on opportunities for each named account. Maintain a clean and clear Salesforce record and deliver accurate forecasts. Perform high‑level executive selling (CISO, CIO, CMO, etc.) with 6–10 customer/partner meetings per week and 6 hours of prospecting per week. Deliver quarterly Customer Business Reviews, security renewals, and education on the Proofpoint roadmap. Provide continuous engagement with existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue expectations. Create and deliver engaging presentations focused on customer needs and overall solution value. Act as a subject‑matter expert on the value of the Proofpoint Platform and its competitive positioning. Coordinate a range of internal and external resources to manage complex, multi‑product proposals. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions or related fields. Proven track record of success managing medium to large accounts. Experience working with channel partners and selling via a two‑tier distribution model. Strong presentation skills and technical understanding of cybersecurity. High sales activity: 6–10 meetings per week and 6 prospecting hours per week. Ability to both prospect and close business, with relentless attention to detail and a "never give up" attitude. Experience developing complex, multi‑product, multi‑year proposals and identifying customer business drivers. Capability to manage competing priorities and personalities while quarterbacking internal and external resources. Must reside in Cincinnati, OH. Benefits Competitive compensation package.
